Two of Orlando's busiest mid-size concert halls sit inside the resort districts: Hard Rock Live Orlando at Universal CityWalk and House of Blues Orlando at Disney Springs. Both put you on a standing floor with a few seated extras, both sit inside a resort district with food on the doorstep, and both refuse re-entry. The differences are parking, size and bag rules.

Parking

At Disney Springs, self-parking in the Orange, Lime and Grapefruit garages and the Watermelon lot is free. The Orange Garage is on the West Side, closest to House of Blues.

Hard Rock Live uses Universal's garages and does not validate. Orlando Informer, which tracks Universal pricing, reports $35 standard parking that becomes free after 6 PM on most nights, except special-event nights such as Halloween Horror Nights. Check Universal's parking page on the day.

Seats or the floor

Both floors are standing room. If you need a seat, buy balcony or table tickets at Hard Rock Live, or loge seats at House of Blues when they are offered; general admission gives no guarantee of one. For a seated room, look at The Plaza Live, whose balcony is always seated, or Steinmetz Hall.
